The International Music Festival

The Madina Mayurqa Foundation, with the invaluable collaboration of Cap Rocat, presents the sixth edition of Festival Cap Rocat, whose main event will once again be held this summer in the iconic fortress overlooking the Mediterranean.

Established as one of the major lyrical events of the European summer, the Festival Cap Rocat its most internationally renowned artistic program on its summer event, which brings together some of the biggest stars on the current scene. In 2026, world-renowned figures will participate in an environment where music, architecture, and landscape come together in a unique cultural experience.

Alongside this major summer event, the Festival is expanding its presence with two complementary cycles: a spring program and charity concerts in the fall. Both were created with the aim of supporting local talent, promoting encounters between guest artists and musicians from the Balearic Islands, and offering a high-quality cultural program throughout the year in a more intimate and accessible format.

About Cap Rocat

Cap Rocat is located in a former military fortress, which is listed as a heritage site with the category of national monument. The fortress is characterised by a unique architecture that focused on integrating seamlessly with the landscape and with its 2km of pristine coastline. The restoration of the fortress and its conversion into a hotel was carried out by the architectural studio of Antonio Obrador. Subsequently Cap Rocat received the highest national and international awards for this restoration, including the Europa Nostra Award for Cultural Heritage for its impeccable restoration, the Hispania Nostra Award as well as the Fortress Study Group award, among others.
