Opera gala
Juan Diego Flórez
Tenor
Born in Lima in 1973, tenor Juan Diego Flórez began his musical training at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima and continued his vocal studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. His international career began in 1996 after his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, followed that same year by his debut at La Scala under the baton of Riccardo Muti, events that marked the beginning of a career with worldwide renown.
Since then, he has performed in major international opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, the Vienna State Opera, the Opéra National de Paris, and La Scala in Milan. Recognized as one of the great voices of bel canto, he has particularly excelled in the repertoire of Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti, later expanding his repertoire to include French opera and certain roles by Verdi and Puccini.
His extensive discography has received numerous international awards. Committed to music education and social inclusion, in 2011 he founded Sinfonía por el Perú, a leading initiative in music education for young people.
Vincenzo Scalera

Vincenzo Scalera was born in New Jersey, United States, to an Italian-American family, and began studying piano at the age of five. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, he began his career as an assistant conductor at the New Jersey State Opera. After moving to Italy, he joined La Scala in Milan in 1980 as a pianist and répétiteur, where he worked on musical and vocal preparation alongside conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Gianandrea Gavazzeni, and Carlos Kleiber.
Throughout his career, he has performed at leading international theaters and festivals, including Edinburgh, Salzburg, Lucerne, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Les Chorégies d’Orange, Jerusalem, Istanbul, and the Festival della Valle d’Itria. As a pianist and vocal accompanist, he has collaborated with artists such as Carlo Bergonzi, Andrea Bocelli, Montserrat Caballé, José Carreras, Juan Diego Flórez, Leyla Gencer, Sumi Jo, Katia Ricciarelli, Renata Scotto, and Cesare Siepi.
His discography includes recordings such as *La Promessa* with Sumi Jo, *The Complete Songs of Verdi* with Renata Scotto, *Carlo Bergonzi in Concerto*, the *Comeback Concerts* series with José Carreras, *Elegie* with Anita Rachvelishvili, and *A te, Puccini* with Angela Gheorghiu.
Scalera is a Steinway Artist and a member of the faculty at the Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri del Teatro alla Scala. He also has a long-standing artistic collaboration with tenor Juan Diego Flórez, with whom he has given recitals at venues such as Carnegie Hall, La Scala, the Philharmonie de Paris, and the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki has spent more than fifteen years performing on the world’s most prestigious stages, collaborating with some of the most prominent conductors and orchestras of our time and giving more than one hundred concerts a year. The 25-26 season will see him return to orchestras such as the Rotterdam Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Houston Symphony, among others.
This season, he will close the Seoul International Music Festival with a program dedicated to Beethoven, give more than 30 recitals across Europe and North America—at venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Palau de la Música Catalana—and perform Beethoven cycles at the Enescu and Merano Festivals alongside the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. His recent return engagements include appearances with the New York Philharmonic, The Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestre de Paris, as well as his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2024.
An exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon since the age of 15, he has recorded nine albums that have won awards such as the JUNO Award, the ECHO Klassik, and the Diapason d'Or. At age 18, he received the Leonard Bernstein Prize and Gramophone's Young Artist Award—becoming its youngest recipient—and in 2012 he was named a UNICEF Ambassador in Canada.

Music director of the Tbilisi State Opera Theatre, Giacomo Sagripanti is considered one of the most outstanding conductors of his generation on the international scene. In 2016, he was awarded the Opera Award for Best Young Conductor of the Year in London, a recognition that gave his career a decisive boost. He began his career in Italy and Germany and was soon invited to conduct at some of Europe's leading theaters and festivals. He has worked regularly at venues such as the Opéra de Paris, the Royal Opera House in London, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Teatro alla Scala, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, among many others. His repertoire ranges from Italian bel canto to the great Romantic and French repertoire.
He also maintains an intense symphonic activity with leading European orchestras and is a regular guest at major festivals. In the 2024–2025 season, he was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture in recognition of his dedication to the French repertoire.

Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen is one of the most important voices on the international opera scene today. In 2026, she will return with her eagerly awaited debut as Isolde in Tristan und Isolde in new productions at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
Davidsen performs regularly at major international theaters and festivals, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Ballet & Opera in London, the Vienna State Opera, the Paris Opera, the Bayreuth Festival, the Aix-en-Provence Festival, and La Scala in Milan. He regularly collaborates with orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and is also a highly sought-after recitalist.

After training in Marseille and Paris, he began his international career on stages such as Lucerne, Toulouse, and Lyon, and has since been a regular guest at the world's leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Opéra national de Paris, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Scala in Milan, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro Real in Madrid, and the Royal Opera House in London, as well as at major festivals such as Salzburg and Aix-en-Provence.
Particularly admired for his interpretations of Verdi's great repertoire—Rigoletto, Macbeth, Simon Boccanegra, La traviata, and Don Carlo—his extensive repertoire also includes French and German operas. Sebastià Serra

Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1995, bass-baritone Sebastià Serra began his musical training on his native island, where he took his first steps in choral and stage performance before beginning his studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music and Dance of Mallorca. During this period, he made his debut in various operatic roles, including Tosca, Il trovatore, and Mozart's Requiem.
He continued his training at the Conservatorio Superior de las Islas Baleares and later at the Escuela de Ópera de Sabadell and the Conservatorio del Liceu, where he performed roles such as Leporello (Don Giovanni) and Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte). In 2023, he received the Ópera Actual Scholarship for the advancement of young talent.
Between 2023 and 2025, he was part of the Accademia di Canto Lirico del Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, where he made his debut in productions such as Il matrimonio segreto, Don Giovanni, Attila, La fanciulla del West, and Don Carlo, as well as participating in symphonic-choral concerts. He has been honored with several awards in international competitions and is increasingly active in opera and concert performances.

Born in Palma de Mallorca, baritone Tomeu Bibiloni has built a solid career in the operatic and symphonic repertoire. He has performed numerous operatic roles, including Malatesta (Don Pasquale), Masetto (Don Giovanni), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Schaunard (La bohème), Ping (Turandot), and the Sacristan (Tosca), among others.
Its activities also include an extensive concert repertoire, with works such as Handel's Messiah, Brahms' German Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and great choral scores by Bach, Mozart, Haydn, and Fauré. He has performed in theaters and auditoriums such as the Teatro Real, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Palau de les Arts, the Teatro de la Maestranza, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Palau de la Música Catalana, as well as participating in prominent festivals.
He has collaborated with renowned musical and stage directors and leading orchestras in Spain and Europe. He recently recorded the album La bona cançó que jo vull cantar, dedicated to songs by Baltasar Bibiloni, and maintains an active operatic and symphonic schedule.
Francesco Domenico Doto

Italian tenor Francesco Domenico Doto, born in Sicignano degli Alburni, completed his musical training at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence and at the Accademia di Perfezionamento del Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, where he worked with Mariella Devia. He won the 2023 Spoleto Competition and the Voce d’Angelo prize in Parma.
He has performed on stages such as the Teatro di San Carlo, the Erl Festspiele, the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Auditorium du Louvre, as well as in theaters throughout Italy and Europe. His repertoire includes roles such as Paolino, Rinuccio, Fenton, Macduff, Gabriele Adorno, and Corrado. He has worked under the direction of maestros such as Daniel Oren, Dan Ettinger, and Asher Fisch, and has shared the stage with leading performers on the international opera scene. His career is in full swing, gradually establishing itself on the European opera scene.
Yunho Eric Kim

South Korean bass Yunho Eric Kim studied at the "Claudio Monteverdi" Conservatory in Cremona before joining the Accademia di Canto Lirico at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, where he completed his artistic training between 2023 and 2025.
During her time at the Academy, she appeared in productions such as *Il matrimonio segreto*, *La fanciulla del West*, *Don Carlo*, *Roméo et Juliette*, and *Alcina*. She has also performed as a soloist at the OpernWerkstatt Festival in Zurich and at the Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden, Germany. In 2025, he joined the Teatro di San Carlo’s concert tour of Brazil, with performances in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
He was selected for the semifinals of the Belvedere Singing Competition in Jūrmala and continues to pursue an international opera career, performing both operatic and concert repertoire throughout Europe.

Italian baritone Antimo Dell'Omo graduated with highest honors and an academic distinction from the "San Pietro a Majella" Conservatory in Naples. He is currently studying with soprano Donata D'Annunzio Lombardi and was a student at the San Carlo Theater Academy in Naples from 2023 to 2025 under the guidance of Mariella Devia, further honing his skills in master classes with Renata Scotto, Renato Bruson, Luciana Serra, and Ernesto Palacio.
A multi-award-winning artist, he won the leading role at the Tito Schipa International Competition and the Grand Prize at the Cuore d'Oro and Città di Genova competitions, where he also received the Giuseppe Taddei Prize. His recent engagements include productions at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, such as *Don Carlo*, *Roméo et Juliette*, and *Il matrimonio segreto*.
His repertoire includes baritone roles such as Rigoletto, Ezio (Attila), Malatesta (Don Pasquale), Belcore (L'elisir d'amore), and Conte Robinson (Il matrimonio segreto), and he has collaborated with conductors such as Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Antonello Allemandi, Beatrice Venezi, and Renata Scotto. In addition to his opera work, he performs regularly in concerts at Italian institutions and festivals.
Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands (OSIB)
Founded in 1988, the OSIB has become one of Spain's symphonic benchmarks. Currently under the direction of maestro Pablo Mielgo, over the last 25 years, the OSIB has accompanied international soloists such as Juan Diego Flórez, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Emmanuel Pahud or Khatia Buniatishvili. The OSIB has travelled abroad for performances in Zurich with mezzo Kate Lindsey, the concert at Radio Hall France in Paris with Kathia Buniatishvili, and the concert at the Civilization Rooms of the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva.
Receiving the Balearic Islands’ Gold Medal in 2020, one of the OSIB's main objectives is to showcase the works of local composers. Working with a label that allows them to distribute their recordings across more than40 musical platforms, the OSIB displays the talent and international scope of the Balearic Islands, as well as their commitment to supporting culture as an essential element for the future of the region.
Joan Company
Choir Director
Joan Company, a prominent choral conductor from Sant Joan, Mallorca, has conducted major choirs and orchestras in Spain and Europe, including the Coro Nacional de España and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia.
Founder of the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, he has promoted training, research and dissemination of choral music for over 46 years, winning awards in international competitions and festivals.
He has also collaborated with renowned conductors and orchestras, and has published numerous studies on music. His awards include the Ramon Llull Rotary Prize and the Ramon Llull Medal of the UIB. In 2022, he was appointed Chapel Master of the Cathedral of Mallorca.

Ilias Tzempetonidis
Greek artistic director Ilias Tzempetonidis began his career in 1996 working with the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Since then, he has become one of the most prestigious and influential personalities on the international operatic scene, fostering the careers of some of today's most famous classical singers.
Tzempetonidis has been Director of Artistic Planning and Casting at the Greek National Opera in Athens, Director of Casting at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Director of Casting at the Opéra National de Paris. He has also regularly participated as a jury member in prominent international competitions, always motivated by his eagerness to help develop and nurture the next generation of leading artists. In addition, Tzempetonidis is artistic advisor to the Tiroler Festspiele in Austria, a festival conducted by Jonas Kaufmann, and casting advisor to the New York Philharmonic under the musical direction of Gustavo Dudamel. He is also artistic director of the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and its Accademia per Cantanti Lirici.
From 2027, he will be artistic advisor to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
